Rögelberg planetary gearboxes are characterised by high transferrable power within the smallest space. Given that driving and power-take off occur on one axis and high power density is achieved with minimal space, this gearbox offers numerous advantages for special applications. Wherever there is minimal space and high torques, e.g. in agricultural machinery, construction machinery or vehicles with electric drives, a Rögelberg planetary drive is often the key to success.
When it comes to electric drives, high drive rotation speeds aren't uncommon. If your application calls for low-noise operation, we achieve this with a helical planetary stage and ground sun and planetary gears.
The planetary axle, the motor axle gearbox and our bevel-helical planetary superimposed gearbox show that individual planetary stages can also be combined with other bevel and spur stages as desired.
